Section 12
Appointment and filling of posts
(1) There will be a vacancy committee in the Nepalese Army under the chairmanship of the chairman of the Public Service Commission or a member of the commission appointed by the Public Service Commission to recommend the filling of vacant officer-level posts and the representative appointed by the Public Service Commission to recommend the filling of posts below the officer level. But the written examination for filling the post will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
(2) Other functions, duties and powers of the post-filling committee under sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
(3) Other arrangements related to the filling of posts shall be as prescribed.
(4) Qualifications required to be appointed to various posts in the Nepali Army shall be as prescribed.
